We are experts in message testing and narrative development, and pride ourselves in turning smart insights into actionable advice - whether it’s helping clients to develop a new campaign, to understand their brand and audiences better, or to respond effectively to a reputation challenge in the media. Message House has recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary, during which time our team has conducted research across 35 countries using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including focus groups, surveys and in-depth interviews. We pride ourselves on our ability to speak with diverse and hard-to-reach elite audiences.

We are now looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to join our team as a Fieldwork Recruiter and help us to engage with senior stakeholders around the world to facilitate their participation in our focus groups and research interviews.

The role

The Fieldwork Recruiter will manage the process of recruiting high quality respondents from beginning to end, ensuring that best practice is upheld at all times. You will be working closely alongside the client project teams throughout, taking responsibility for how we identify, approach and manage potential respondents in a professional and efficient manner. Some key responsibilities include -

  • Planning the fieldwork recruitment process, such as drafting communications, screening questions and setting up important documents like privacy or payment forms

  • Managing the process of identifying sufficient high-quality respondents to invite to participate in research

  • Approaching and managing potential respondents by being their first point of contact answering any questions and confirming their willingness to take part

  • Scheduling screening calls, focus groups and interviews in the diary with respondents, moderators and the client project teams

  • Monitoring and communicating progress of the fieldwork recruitment throughout

  • Managing Message House’s GDPR requirements diligently

You will develop a deep understanding of how to identify, communicate and recruit high quality respondents, constantly looking for ways to improve the effectiveness of how we do it. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing learnings across the whole process, as well as training and supporting the client project teams in best practice.

You will learn quickly, be trained and supported by a close-knit and collaborative team and work directly with the senior leadership, providing you with excellent opportunities to develop new skills.

At Message House, we never settle for ‘good enough’ – we deliver the highest quality of work in an often fast-paced environment. The successful candidates will therefore need a willingness to work flexibly and adapt quickly, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.

We are looking for candidates with relevant experience and skills, however it is not essential that this needs to be in a related field. Full training and mentoring will be provided to successful applicants to help you continue to progress in the role and your career, however, we do expect you to be a proactive self-starter, who can quickly adapt to Message House’s way of working.
